My Mockingjay review

Anticipating and then actually reading this book is like expecting to watch an Oscar-winning film, but you end up with an average blockbuster flick. Exciting - yeah. Unforgettable - no. Disappointing - a big HELL YEAH.

Mari, somehow after our discussion, I think I appreciated Mockingjay more, but just by a tad though. Hehehe.

Yeah, me too. Disappointment kept my ratings low, but it was indifference that made my review so abrupt. Listening to different perspectives made me lose the dismissive shrug, but not the disappointment. That is, the discussion slightly tempted me to write more about why I found Mockingjay to be so disappointing.
